Laser therapy (Photobiomodulation)
We use laser therapy for a variety of applications to increase your pets comfort and help them to heal. The specific wavelength of light used in laser therapy helps healing at a cellular level. The invisible light wave, through a chain reaction in the cells, helps to stimulate the mitochondria within the cells in the area being treated. This in turn causes a therapeutic reaction. Effects of laser therapy include pain relief, decrease in swelling and inflammation and increased speed of healing. Common uses include arthritis and other orthopedic issues, otitis (ear infections), gingivitis, surgical sites, skin infections and more.
